Turnkey solutions for sputtering and nanoengineering

CEVP creates the world's most versatile tools for sputtering and nanomaterial growth. We design and build turnkey vacuum and thin-film engineering solutions - using know-how gained since CEVP's foundation in 1999, and from our own experts and consultants with a lifetime of experience in the sector. Problem-solving is a speciality. Our equipment is favoured wherever the science and engineering community faces novel or unusual deposition or material growth applications, and we have a long track record of success with renowned R&D and industrial establishments. Our portfolio includes:

Modular tool design. We employ modular design principles and components. This allows us to create application-specific tools rapidly and economically, and ensures that equipment is highly expandable and maintainable.

Problem-solving. CEVP's reputation is built on innovation: our tools often break new ground - such as PECVD at 1200C, or room-temperature nanotube growth. In addition to providing our expertise in the form of tools, we consult and supply. If you have a problem with material performance at high temperatures, in oxidizing environments, or with any pyrolitic materials - CEVP can advise or provide a solution.

Featured material
Boronised graphite (BG10)
This material has oxygen resistance to temperatures as high as 700C - losing far less mass to carbon dioxide than conventional graphite grades (which typically begin to oxidise at 400-500C). It's extremely useful for high temperature seals and bearings, such as in jet engines and hot gas bypass systems, and CEVP offers a comprehensive machining and fabrication service.
